I can stay up until around two in the morning if I'm planning on getting up around 8 or so, but if I have nothing to get up for in the morning I can be at the grindstone with the madness and the glowsticks until much, much...I guess technically it would be 'earlier,' eh?<br /><br />Interestingly, when I KNOW I need to get up in the morning, it is much more difficult for me to get by on those 5-6 hours of sleep. The issue wi...Once a night owl, always a night owl! The issue with being a night owl though is that the 'real' world seems to expect you to be a sun worshipper. The stores, the offices and the schools.. especially the schools! The I sleep a max of six hours. To wake up at 8 is quite sufficient for someone who is retired! When I have to get up early (for example when I still worked), I liked to get up well in time, to take the time for a decent breakfast, read the newspaper... No matter how...I am a night owl no doubt about it!! No matter how tired I am I can stay up until 3 or 4 a.m. but I'll sleep until about noon. I have never slept any later than noon. I do wake up early if I need to... here's where I roll both into one. Stay up late and wake up early if I need to. I hate doing this but sometimes it happens. I will say at one point I stayed up for 36 hours straight on three hours of sleep! That's the longest I have ever gone without sleep and hopefully I will never attempt that again.
